The Vagus Nerve Singing Bowl is a 256 Hz crystal singing bowl, green-fluorite-infused, handcrafted in our manufactory. It’s made for therapists, somatic practitioners, coaches, EFT practitioners, and yoga teachers working with nervous system regulation, and equally for anyone with their own quiet practice at home.

256 Hz: three anchors for one frequency

Clinically grounded. 256 Hz sits one octave above the 128 Hz Rydel-Seiffer tuning fork that neurology uses to test vibratory sensation: the same calm, low-mid range in which medical and therapeutic tuning forks (128, 256, 512 Hz) have long been used. Sound and vibration in this range measurably engage the body’s sensory and autonomic pathways.

Mathematically clean. 256 Hz equals 2⁸ Hz, a perfectly geometric frequency. In scientific pitch (proposed by Joseph Sauveur in 1713, championed by Giuseppe Verdi), it’s the pure C tone, derived from clean doublings starting at 1 Hz. Geometric, whole-number, exact throughout.

Physiologically resonant. Low enough to be felt as vibration through the body, high enough to ring as a full crystal singing bowl with rich overtones. That depth-stimulation reaches the somatosensory pathways that connect, in the polyvagal framework (Porges), to the parasympathetic nervous system.
