Frequencies at Resonance Reset™

Behind every bowl is a decision about frequency. 432 Hz as a concert system, Solfeggio as a tradition of its own, Angel Frequencies as a third path, Brainwave Entrainment as a tool for beats. This page explains what sits behind the choices.

How Nathalie came to frequencies

Solfeggio first, especially 174 Hz. She began with a handpan, then tuning forks, then crystal bowls. The question of why some bowls hold together and others fight each other led her to measurement and to the manufactory.

Today Resonance Reset™ carries four frequency systems side by side.

Frequency fidelity

A cent is one hundredth of a semitone. The crystal singing bowl market calls anything within ten to twenty cents of its target „perfect pitch.“ At Resonance Reset™, every bowl is measured to within five cents on a calibrated Peterson iStroboSoft, with a 0.1 cent reading. Every bowl is numbered and carries its measured pitch.

The four systems

432 Hz chromatic

From B♭3 to E5. Eight Chakra tones (C4, D4, E4, F4, G4, A4, B4, C5), five chromatic in-between tones (C♯4, D♯4, F♯4, G♯4, A♯4), and the two low tones B3 and B♭3 of the Deep Tones Collection. Expansion into the upper register is in preparation.

A4 is tuned to 432.00 Hz as the reference pitch. All other tones are derived from A4 by equal temperament.

440 Hz on request at the same precision, for studio recording and stage.

Solfeggio

Four frequencies available as crystal bowls: 285 Hz, 396 Hz, 417 Hz, 528 Hz. The other five Solfeggio frequencies (174, 639, 741, 852, 963 Hz) come as quartz tuning forks in a colour per frequency, available as the Solfeggio Tuning Fork Set.

The Solfeggio frequencies stand on their own, outside the Western twelve-tone scale and without reference to 432 or 440 Hz.

Angel Frequencies

Three frequencies in Sapphire: 333 Hz, 444 Hz, 555 Hz. Each pair sits 111 Hz apart. Played together, they create a 111 Hz beat tone. Available as the Angel Trio.

Brainwave Entrainment

Entrainment means choosing two tones close enough that their frequency difference is audible as a slow pulse. Four Entrainment Pairs are available:

  • Deep Delta 285 Hz + D4, beat around 3 Hz
  • Flow Alpha 396 Hz + G4, beat around 11 Hz
  • Meditation Alpha 417 Hz + G♯4, beat around 9 Hz
  • Focus 528 Hz + C5, beat around 14 Hz

Beats in these ranges have been associated with EEG changes and shifts in attention. Sources on What is Brainwave Entrainment.

In preparation

  • 256 Hz Vagus Nerve Bowl on scientific pitch, already available.
  • Master Series in Clear Quartz infused with Amethyst or Rose Quartz, by request.
  • Expansion into the third octave for a deeper bass anchor.

Frequency Architecture

The deliberate construction of a sound field through intervals, beats, and gemstone choice. Every pair and set in the Resonance Reset™ collection follows this logic. More on the About page.

FAQ

What is the difference between 432 and 440 Hz? Two concert pitches. 432 Hz is older, 440 Hz is modern. Both are playable; bowls can be ordered in either.

Why not all nine Solfeggio frequencies as bowls? Only four can be built as a crystal bowl at pitch. The other five come as tuning forks in quartz.

What is a beat tone? Two tones close in pitch produce a third, slower pulse. That pulse is the beat tone.

Where do 285, 396, 417, 528 come from? From the Solfeggio tradition, a historic set of frequencies.
